Projects Page

There are THREE projects to do during the semester. The first two are really mini-projects in themselves and the third project is the large final project (being the practical side of the course).

Note: You are NOT to use HTML editors of any kind. You must type the HTML code using a text editor like Notepad or Pico.

The following list is a summary of each project with accompanying full info:
  1. File Transfer - This project involves using SSH Secure Shell Client to upload files to your directory and setting proper permissions. Select this link to read more on how to do this area and how to accomplish the task. It is worth 3% of your final grade.

  2. Index Page - The first page of your final project is submitted and the TA's evaluate you on your progress so far. There are some prerequisites your page must follow which can be found on the Index Page explanation.

  3. Final Project - 10 pages of html coding are necessary with a few prequisites on the Final Project itinerary.

The projects of the course are easy methods of the course to obtaining nearly free marks. These projects are a test of one's ability to follow instructions as well as being the practical side of the course to sharpen the skills of HTML coding.
